Specialized Care

Specialized in trauma, complex PTSD, and the connection between emotional stress and chronic health conditions. This approach integrates trauma-informed psychotherapy with a deep understanding of how long-term stress affects both the mind and body.

A truly holistic approach to therapy.

The Mind Becomes Quieter

Trauma often leaves the mind stuck in loops of overthinking, self-criticism, or constant scanning for what might go wrong. As the nervous system becomes more regulated, many people experience greater clarity, perspective, and mental space.

Relationships Begin to Feel Safer

When trauma occurs in relationships, it can shape how we experience closeness, trust, and conflict. Healing often involves developing patterns of connection that feel more secure, stable, and less driven by fear or hyper-vigilance.

Patterns That Once Felt Automatic Start to Shift

Many trauma responses show up as behaviors that once helped us survive such as people-pleasing, withdrawing, overworking, freezing, or staying constantly on guard. In therapy, these patterns can soften as new options become available.

Emotions Become Easier to Navigate

Intense emotional swings, shutdown, or chronic anxiety are common after long periods of stress or trauma. Here you can process your experiences, grieve the life you didn’t get, and begin to experience emotions without feeling overwhelmed or out of control.

The Body Carries Less Stress

Trauma can leave the nervous system in a constant state of tension. As regulation improves, improvements in sleep, fatigue, physical tension, and other stress-related health symptoms can be achieved.

Client Reviews

Before starting therapy, I felt weighed down by my past trauma and stuck in a lot of sadness and self-doubt. Therapy gave me the space to heal, understand myself, and gain my strength again. Now, I have the tools to manage my emotions, set healthy boundaries, and move forward with hope. I’m truly grateful for this experience.

“Living with a chronic condition has felt so isolating, but therapy gave me a safe space to process my anger and sadness, and find a strength I didn’t know I had. I learned how to cope with the mental and emotional toll of my diagnosis and manage flare ups in a way that felt more hopeful. I feel lighter and more at peace in my body."

— P.B., Former Client

“For a long time I thought something was wrong with me. My reactions felt too big, my body was always tense, and relationships were confusing. Learning how trauma shaped my body has helped me understand myself and my reactions in a completely different way.”
